Episode 84: Cookbook Author Tessa Kiros: Now & Then

Welcome to Episode #84:

A collage, moments, places, layers, checkered cloths and tables of treasured plates, antique spoons, woven baskets, jars of roses, vintage tins, spices and cups for tea, details of the every day but so important to the spirit of the kitchen and the person who creates and dreams and brings colour and life to the table.  This is a book of stories and recipes, and moments from other places and lands far away, places visited and known to not only the eye but to the palette and the heart, the place where ingredients and flavours inspire and transport.  A book of Now and a book of Then.  A book that is part memoir and part recipes.

Tessa Kiros and I talk about her most recent cookbook, ‘Now & Then:  A collection of recipes for always’.  ‘Now & Then’ is a Publication of Murdoch Books. The team there have given us another stunning book to hold and savour and cook from.  This is Tessa’s 11th cookbook…

This is a beautiful conversation about Tessa’s writing, her creative life, food and styling, the travels, and how she sees the world and the things that inspire.  Make yourself a pot of tea and relax into this share.  Tessa was at home in Tuscany, when we spoke about ‘Now & Then’ and what inspired this book and thank you Tessa, so much, for this bountiful and generous conversation.  Enjoy….
