Episode 41 : The Art of Dolce Far Niente with Sophie Minchilli

This week I share a fun conversation with the Author Sophie Minchilli and her book: The Sweetness of Doing Nothing: Live Life the Italian Way with Dolce Far Niente.

We discuss the good life in Rome, discovering her path to becoming a professional pasta eater, slowing down and enjoying the details of life, how to make the perfect Carbonara, and taking the time to write her book, ‘The Sweetness of Doing Nothing’ that was released earlier in 2021.

Just a light lunch…. Carbonara made with Pancetta, no cheek of the pig at the local supermarket. Still so tasty using pancetta, and a great homage to Italian Food that it is simple to make, with little ingredients.

Salute to to Roman Cuisine…..
